Abby Pike
Therapist/ Intake Specialist

Therapy can be a scary thing at first. By facing our fears and taking it one session at a time, we begin to see that life can become more manageable, making the journey truly worthwhile.

Meet Abby

On her time away from work, Abby practices self-care by swimming & mermaid free-diving. She also likes to go on walks with her cats, take naps with them, and enjoy anything involved with warm sun. Abby is able to feel grounded by enjoying nature hikes and picnics.

Life does not come with instructions, but when we accept the unknown and create inner peace, the world becomes more manageable, safer, and positive, even when unpredictable circumstances arise.

Abby's Approach to Therapy

Abby works collaboratively with clients to ensure all the work applied in therapy aligns with their inner self and will adapt or shift an intervention as needed. Abby offers a non-judgmental space for clients of all genders, abilities, ethnicities, sexualities, and religions. In addition to supporting individuals of all walks of life, Abby is passionate about supporting individuals from the LGBTQ+ Community and recognizes the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for them to seek therapy. Her passion for this work drives her to ensure that every client feels respected, understood, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Abby combines what clients bring to session with her clinical knowledge, to cultivate growth, unconditional acceptance, and comfort to explore what necessary in session.

Abby utilizes clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows an individual to learn about their thought-patterns and how to create a healthier inner-dialogue. With Creative Writing also being utilized in therapy, Abby is able to assist clients with learning to articulate their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and expressive manner. Once necessary changes are identified by a client, Abby is honored to assist them with taking steps towards that healthier change.

The gift of therapy is the ability to create a personalized toolbox for each person to use in life when things get hard, or just to show increased self-love.
