Each day offers a new opportunity to move toward meaningful change. The strengths within you can become the starting point for the life you hope to create.
Life can sometimes leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand your experiences, reconnect with what matters most, and recognize the strengths you already carry within you.
Meet Zack
Outside of the therapy room, Zack enjoys going on walks, listening to music, and spending time with family, friends, and pets. He also enjoys following sports, watching movies, and exploring creative interests. These moments of connection, movement, and creativity help him recharge.
As a counseling intern from the University of Louisville, Zack values the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they discover more about themselves. He believes that meaningful change begins with recognizing existing strengths and exploring how those strengths can support growth. He especially appreciates helping clients understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing greater self-acceptance and confidence.
Zack’s Approach to Therapy
Zack approaches therapy with collaboration, openness, and respect for each person’s individual experiences. He believes in meeting clients where they are and working together to identify goals that reflect their needs and values. Through relationships grounded in transparency and accountability, he hopes clients feel supported, thoughtfully challenged, and empowered.
He is drawn to supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, boundaries, and significant life transitions. He also brings experience supporting individuals facing substance use concerns and trauma. Zack is especially passionate about supporting men who may be hesitant to seek therapy, helping create a space where emotional expression feels welcome and seeking support is recognized as a strength.
His Person-centered approach to therapy is complimented by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Psychodynamic perspectives. He draws from these clinical approaches to help clients explore thought patterns, understand emotions, strengthen coping skills, and recognize how past experiences may influence the present. For those feeling nervous about beginning therapy, Zack hopes to offer a collaborative space where trust can develop at a comfortable pace.
